Protiviti is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Loan Analyst to join our team. As a Commercial Loan Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of commercial loan documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This position is a full-time, contract, work-from-home opportunity
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze commercial loan documentation, and other related legal and financial documents.
- Ensure all loan documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and legal counsel to resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the review process.
- Perform due diligence on collateral documentation, such as title searches, insurance verification, and lien perfection.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date loan files, including document imaging and proper filing procedures.
- Monitor and track loan document exceptions and follow up with the necessary parties to ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with external parties, such as title companies and attorneys, to facilitate the timely preparation and execution of loan documentation.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry best practices related to commercial loan documentation and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Provide support and assistance to other departments, such as loan servicing and credit administration, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience using the commercial loan system, ACBS is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial loan documentation within the banking or financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial lending practices, loan documentation requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient in using loan documentation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
