Position Overview:
- Title: Compliance Analyst / Compliance Officer
- Location: Midtown NYC
- Salary: Up to $100k base plus ~15-20% discretionary bonus
- Office Requirement: Minimum 4 days per week in the office, 5 for training
- Reporting To: Senior Compliance Manager
- Team: Join a team of 3, including 1 other Senior Compliance Analyst
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree.
- 1-4 years of compliance experience with knowledge of KYC, AML, BSA, OFAC regulations, and transaction monitoring.
- ACAMS (CAMS) certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience with eGifts systems is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and review reports/alerts from the Suspicious Activity Monitoring System (SAMS).
- Execute SAMS cases and manage transactions flagged by the OFAC filter.
- Coordinate with branch management to address compliance issues and ensure regulatory adherence.
- Handle Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and review alerts from regulatory bodies like FinCEN and OFAC.
- Conduct enhanced compliance reviews and manage high-risk and politically exposed persons (PEPs) accounts.
- Prepare agendas for Compliance Committee meetings and review account documentation for CDD and risk ratings.
- Adapt quickly and wear multiple hats in a dynamic environment.
