Controller

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join a client in the Manufacturing industry, based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. As a Controller, your role will involve overseeing the financial operations, implementing accounting policies and procedures, and regularly interacting with our IT group for diverse problem resolutions and discussions regarding new procedures/processes.Responsibilities:• Lead the accounting team to perform financial accounting requirements and performance reporting• Handle balance sheet accounts through periodic reconciliations• Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures • Conduct general ledger and sub-ledger reconciliations, and variance bridge analysis• Understand inventory analysis and assist with physical inventories and reconciliations, with a special focus on Raw Materials and costing in SAP• Coordinate and perform annual external audits or quarterly reviews• Coordinate various treasury/banking functions including domestic and international wires• Work with Shared Services on transactional processes (AP & AR) and reporting processes • Assist with general ledger management, budget preparations, and monthly rolling forecast• Prepare, file, and ensure compliance with local and federal taxes• Perform monthly variance analysis to identify opportunities to improve business profitability

Salary : $135,000 - $150,000
