Major responsibilities- Comfortable handling responsibilities beyond formal job duties- Manage daily cash and prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals- Present executive committee and partners with monthly financial reports- Manage the creation of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts- Support punctual cash collection by managing the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques- Assess deliverables of self and team to verify they meet client expectations- Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required- Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies- Direct finance department activities, such as accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll- Manage monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, the reconciliations of accounts, and G/L analysis- Collaborate with executive team and partners to make efficient and effective firm-wide operation possible
