Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Support role in our team. The job is located in Portland, Oregon, and involves working within a dynamic environment in the industry. As a Customer Support, you will be responsible for a range of tasks from processing customer applications to resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers through various channels such as telephone, email, text, chat, and social media platforms to address pre-sales or post-sales service functions.
  • Handle and process customer requests including documents related to returns (RMA), servicing, and exchanges, and update databases with the status of these activities.
  • Keep track of customer accounts and take appropriate action based on their status.
  • Maintain accurate records of returns, schedule changes, product enhancements or changes, and product pricing.
  • Ensure service information is accessible by organizing and filing documents/forms.
  • Handle requests for additional company materials and resolve any issues related to return credit problems.
  • Prepare trouble tickets related to processing returns and maintain records of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage office functions such as photocopying and scanning documents.
  • Leverage your skills to handle materials effectively and maintain customer credit records.
  • Use your knowledge of social media channels to enhance customer support and pre-sales and post-sales activities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and sales.
  • Proficient in handling office functions and materials.
  • Knowledge of databases and credit systems.
  • Experience in customer support, preferably in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with social media channels and their use in customer support.
  • Understanding of product enhancement and replacement procedures.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Experience in processing returns and handling trouble tickets.
  • Ability to manage delivery schedules and handle schedule changes.
  • Knowledge of pre-sales and post-sales support.
  • Understanding of product pricing strategies.
  • Experience with photocopying and scanning documents.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
