We are looking for a certified Data Analyst. The ideal candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Some responsibilities of the Data Analyst include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design, as well as developing analysis and reporting capabilities. The Data Analyst will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
Your responsibilities in this role
- Identify changes in financial and business trends by monitoring data
- Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
- Help various departments, including marketing and sales, reach their goals through analysis
- Develop business reports that provide insight into key data points
- Regularly examine data reports to identify and resolve mistakes throughout
- Support database updates and maintain accuracy
- Create data recording systems and business analysis for the department to use
- Accurately examine and gather data for various types of business reports
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
- Detail oriented with a tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
- Superb critical thinking skills to make decisions and solve business problems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs
- Skilled in creating pivot tables, graphs, and charts using data tools
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a financial or business analyst
- General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
