The Information Systems Analyst is a liaison position with the objective of integrating application systems to meet the needs of operations and accounting. The analyst must utilize expertise in systems and accounting as well as have the aptitude to understand operations to be successful.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Write SQL ad hoc queries for reporting needs• Build VBA programs for both Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel• Work within SQL Server and Microsoft Access databases• Data analysis and assessment of database infrastructure• Creation and maintenance of management dashboards within Business Intelligence softwareQUALIFICATIONS:The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions• Must have excellent analytical and reporting skills• Must have excellent computer and problem-solving skills• Must have exceptional skill in Excel including pivots, advanced formula writing and ODBC SQL queries• Must be able to create and maintain report designs in Access and/or SSRS• Must have knowledge and understanding of GAAP accounting• Must have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy• Must have the ability to multi-task successfully and respond to internal/external customers in a timely manner• Must have the ability to be an effective team member and display initiative• Must have experience using Business Intelligence/Data Visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, Dundas BI)
