Robert Half is looking for an experienced Database Developer with a strong relational database background. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and developing database architecture. If you are skilled at query writing and enjoy developing systems, this might be the Database Developer position for you. This Database Developer role is a long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity that is based in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area.
Key responsibilities
- Produce a database schema based on application-related function and data type
- Provide documentation and training to the Database Administrator. Also supply training to other users when necessary
- Design, code, and implement relational databases
- Build a method for storing future database data
Requirements
- Familiarity with query coding and relational databases
- Understanding and know-how to fix potential issues, and background with industry standards for database operations
- Previous experience working as a Database Developer or a related role
- Microsoft Access experience desired
- Demonstrated knowledge of database development
- Experience with MS Windows Server 2012
- SQL experience required
- Foundational knowledge in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
- Adeptness in Windows Server 2019
- Deep understanding of Infor
