As a member of the Corporate Finance team, the Manager, Finance Master Data focuses on maintaining the financial data architecture in support of financial processes and systems in the ASM Global organization. The position also supports the ASM Global Dynamics 365 Team with the Company’s implementations and future rollouts of D365 to its affiliated companies and is a trusted source of expertise for our business and financial personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead Finance Master Data and cross-functional teams with the financial data architecture, including dimension member and hierarchy maintenance across financial systems
• Management and maintenance of master data across lines of business including vendors and customers to support MDM goals and objectives
• Test, deploy and maintain data integrations, ETL processes, within ASM’s environments
• Perform Master Data additions, changes, and deletions according to standard procedures and business rules
• Understand data migration requirements
• Acquire understanding of Microsoft D365 F& O to support end user questions
• Assist in configuring and trouble-shooting Microsoft Dynamics 365 security roles, duties, and privileges
• Must feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and flexible environment
• Work across teams to investigate data-related issues, seeking to provide timely and productive support and solutions
• Willingness to learn new systems and applications
• Lead documentation of policies and procedures related to Master Data Management
• Assist FP& A team as needed with management of key customer contract data, coordinating across geographies and functions to ensure timeliness of master data entry and accuracy
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly with some support and guidance
• Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines
• Create and deliver routine training about financial systems to finance team members
• Educate clients on master data processes and business requirements
• Maintain required audit-related documentation
Required Qualifications
• Experience working with advanced ERP environments (Dynamics 365 a plus) and consolidation systems (deFacto or BPC is a plus)
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
• Experience designing and working with financial controls
• Self-directed, proactive, and ability to work independently with little direct supervision
• Ability to identify and manage priorities
• Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
• Verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Required Education and Experience
• Minimum education level of: Associate degree in finance or accounting (or equivalent experience)
• 4 years of related work experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, SAP, Oracle, JDE, Sage) and financial data architectures
• Supply Chain and Procurement experience desired
• Beneficial training Six Sigma or Lean
