We are offering an exciting opportunity in the telecom sector for a Desktop Support Analyst, located in Bedford, Ohio, 44146-1329, United States. The role encompasses maintaining and troubleshooting desktop hardware, components, peripherals, and operating systems alongside handling job-related issues and confidential material.
Responsibilities
- Handle hands-on hardware troubleshooting tasks
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of desktop hardware, components, peripherals, and various operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Linux, and thin client knowledge
- Engage in system imaging and become familiar with Microsoft Office applications and other business-oriented software
- Exhibit analytical and problem-solving abilities, paying keen attention to detail
- Conduct effective research into job-related issues and products
- Work effectively with a wide range of constituencies and handle confidential material appropriately
- Present ideas in user-friendly language
- Manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities effectively
- Utilize skills such as Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Deskside Support, Windows OS.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Desktop Support Analyst or in a similar role.
- Must possess strong knowledge and experience with Active Directory.
- Proficiency in handling and troubleshooting Computer Hardware is required.
- Should have experience in providing Deskside Support to end-users.
- Familiarity with Windows Operating System (OS) and its troubleshooting is essential.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven record of managing time and resources effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Must have a problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with other IT professionals.
- Should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
