Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Technology to join our dynamic team. The Director of IT will play a critical role in aligning our technology initiatives with the company's strategic objectives and ensuring the optimal performance of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of IT best practices.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Alignment:Collaborate with senior management to align IT initiatives with company goals and mission.Identify opportunities to enhance workflow, security, collaboration, and integrations through technology solutions.Oversee the planning and implementation of IT projects to support business objectives.Budget Management:Create and maintain the annual Information Systems (IS) budget, ensuring alignment with company priorities and financial guidelines.Submit and approve all IT expenses, tracking expenditures and ensuring cost-effectiveness.Management and Supervision:Oversee and manage a team of remote employees, including Helpdesk/Network Manager and Helpdesk Support staff.Define and maintain roles and responsibilities within the IT department, establishing clear priorities and expectations.Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including 11:11 cloud infrastructure, Miles Technologies managed services, and 2nd/3rd tier support providers.Security and Risk Management:Respond to client cybersecurity and operational questionnaires, providing accurate and comprehensive information as needed.Develop and maintain cybersecurity policy documentation, including operational procedures, controls, training programs, and process management.Utilize industry standards such as NIST, ISO, and others to formalize and ensure compliance with best practice frameworks.Coordinate data security and application development policies with the Digital Creative Services Department to mitigate risks and protect sensitive information.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.10 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of strategic leadership and project execution.Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Experience managing remote employees and third-party vendors in a fast-paced environment.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP) are a plus.
