Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the Single Family Office, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies, investment plans, and long-term financial goals. Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to optimize financial performance and mitigate risk.
- Investment Analysis: Monitor and evaluate investment opportunities, assess potential risks and returns, and provide recommendations for investment decisions. Conduct due diligence on prospective investments and assist in the execution of investment transactions.
- Tax Planning and Compliance: Develop and implement tax strategies, working closely with external tax advisors. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, staying updated on changes that may impact the organization.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls, risk assessments, and insurance strategies. Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to ensure proactive risk management.
- Treasury Management: Oversee cash management activities, including cash flow projections, banking relationships, liquidity management, and debt management. Optimize capital structure and investment portfolios to maximize returns.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, statements, and analysis to senior management and stakeholders. Provide clear and concise insights on financial performance, trends, and areas of improvement.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA certification is mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably within a single family office or similar wealth management setting.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, tax regulations, and investment analysis. Familiarity with institutional wealth management and complex financial structures.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute financial strategies, analyze investment opportunities, and provide sound financial recommendations.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Experience in ensuring regulatory compliance, implementing internal controls, and managing financial risk.
