We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in Hampton, South Carolina. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the fiscal integrity of the financial records, administering and monitoring the annual operating budget, and supervising the spending of funds.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration and monitoring of the annual operating budget
- Maintain the fiscal integrity of the company's financial records
- Supervise the spending of company funds in accordance with the approved company budget
- Prepare annual budget requests
- Issue purchase orders for departments and process payables for the company including vendor invoices, payroll, and travel reimbursements
- Prepare financial and administrative reports
- Oversee the processes of purchasing procurement and government grants, and ensure compliance with GASB
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Annual Budgeting and Operating Budget management.
- Experience in Budget Administration and Monitoring.
- Knowledge and experience in Budgeting and Forecasting.
- Must have experience in managing Department Budgets.
- Ability to manage and prepare Annual Budgets.
- Proficiency in Purchasing Procurement.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field required, advanced degree preferred.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in business matters.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
