Financial Controller
The Controller needs to be quick on their feet, knowledgeable and have a high sense of urgency in their work. This role will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a positive and professional demeanor and a willingness to roll-up their sleeves and work alongside their colleagues.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Timely, complete and accurate issuance of monthly financial statements
- Monitoring of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure that payments/receipts are timely
- Process Payroll in an accurate and timely manner
- Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
- General ERP maintenance to include updates to chart of accounts tax tables and automated control processes
- Manage annual review process
- Adhoc reporting as needed (monthly job performance and other KPI’s)
- Manage online recruiting process including but not limited to posting of job adds. Reviewing applicant resumes, and screening of candidates
- Oversight over stock cage, working with shop team to build out a more simple and sustainable system
- Preparation of annual budget
- Other responsibilities as requested

Daily Assignments:
- An average day is 9 hours. An average week is ± 45 hours
- Administering and enrolling all eligible employees into benefit program
- Employee engagement issues
- Oversee On boarding and processing in all new employees
- Conducting exit interviews and compiling data from resignations and terminations of employment
- Recruitment and job postings
- Maintaining and recommending policies and procedures to enhance company operations in regards to human resources
- Assisting management with employee related concerns
- Participating in unemployment hearings
- Review employee evaluations with existing staff

- Follow up on details until the task or job is complete
