The Fund Accountant Will Be Responsible For The Following
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and GAAP.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment disbursements, and cash receipts.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights to management.
- Audit and Compliance: Support internal and external audit processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Transaction Processing: Record and reconcile daily transactions related to property acquisitions, dispositions, and financing activities.
- Expense Management: Monitor and analyze expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external tax advisors.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of fund accounting, property accounting, or job cost accounting experience
- Yardi or QuickBooks experience is preferred
- CPA or pursuing the CPA (nice to have, but not required)
- Public accounting experience (nice to have, but not required)

- 2 years of fund accounting, property accounting, or job cost accounting experience
- Yardi or QuickBooks experience is preferred
