The Grants and Claims Manager will oversee the day-to-day supervision of the grants accounting team while maintainingand improving processes and procedures related to grants management.Responsibilities:• Supervise grants accounting staff; monitor and ensure grant fiscal deliverables are met within the deadlines setby donors and ensure timely submission of periodic claims and funder reports.• Review and process internal and external reports, including Director's Reports and claims to governmentagencies and private funders.• Liaise with program managers, development and fiscal staff on the financial management of grants andproposals.• Establish and update grants management processes and controls as needed to ensure compliance withbudgetary best practices and donor restrictions.• Receive and review grant agreements for terms and conditions, donor-imposed restrictions, anddeliverable/reporting dates.• Manage, update, and maintain organization of all grant documents (e.g., narratives, financials, agreements,amendments, and reports)• Use and improve established grants management process and protocols.• Become a power user of lntacct, including training and assigning rights to staff.• Oversee and assist with contract and agency-wide audits.• Implement systems for and oversee processes related to time and effort reporting.• Assist in the preparation of agency-wide and program specific allocations.
