Robert Half is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator for a client in the Sacramento area. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth functioning of various HR processes. This position is well-suited for someone with at least 1 year of experience in human resources who is eager to further develop their HR skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include:


Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in coordinating the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring completion of required paperwork.

HR Operations:

  • Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR databases and files.
  • Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks, such as preparing HR documents, maintaining employee personnel files, and responding to routine HR inquiries.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Support employee relations efforts by assisting in investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Provide support in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
  • Assist in processing payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation packages.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate training programs and initiatives, including scheduling sessions, managing attendance, and organizing training materials.
  • Assist in the implementation of performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and feedback.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with HR-related legal requirements, including employment laws, data protection regulations, and safety regulations.
  • Compile HR metrics and prepare reports on key HR indicators, such as turnover, recruitment statistics, and training initiatives.




Requirements

Human Resources (HR) Administration, New Employee Orientation, New Employee Orientation, OnboardingRequirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in human resources, with exposure to various HR functions.
  • Sound knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation.
  • Proficient in using HRIS systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive HR information.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
