We are seeking a Director of Human Resources to join our team based in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves providing strategic leadership and guidance to a robust Human Resources department across multiple locations. The successful candidate will oversee various departments including Payroll, Benefits Administration, Training & Development, Employee Concerns/Complaints, and Internal Recruiting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the firm's salary, payroll, and benefits administration
- Manage new employee onboarding and orientation
- Maintain regular communication with employees, including employee counseling as directed by Firm Management
- Oversee the Human Resources Department in conducting post new-hire check-ins and updates as well as employee exit interviews
- Coordinate communications with Texas Workforce Commission and manage all labor relations activities
- Coordinate and monitor yearly performance evaluations firm-wide and work with Firm Management on merit increases
- Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
- Oversee Human Resources Department management of FLMA and LOA paperwork and administration
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the firm's culture and overall objectives
- Responsible for reporting on metrics of the department and ensuring compliance

Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably as an HR Director
- Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
- Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
- Experience with Ceridian and Kronos Timekeeping System
- Expertise in Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations and procedures
- Experience working with C-Suite level executives
- Demonstrated ability to handle Employee Relations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business needs
- Strong knowledge of HR functions such as recruitment, employee engagement, and development
- Exceptional understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Proficiency in HRIS and HR software
- Strong ethics and reliability
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.
