Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to cover for a team member going out on a leave. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in overseeing various HR functions, including payroll, reporting, performance management, recruiting, benefits administration, and employee relations. You will collaborate closely with the HR team and other leaders within the organization to ensure the smooth and effective operation of HR processes.
Responsibilities: Payroll Oversight: Oversight of the payroll process using ADP WFN. HR coordinator will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. EEO1 Reporting: Manage the preparation and submission of the EEO1 report. Annual Reviews: Facilitate the annual review process, including training new leaders and employees on the process. Work closely with VP of HR to execute the manual process, encompassing salary reviews, merit pay, and bonuses. Full-Cycle Recruiting: Handle end-to-end recruitment activities for both hourly and salaried positions, including sourcing candidates and coordinating with agencies. Review job descriptions and salary ranges in Workable. Employee Relations and Performance Management: Primarily manage employee relations and performance management for hourly employees, including conducting exit interviews. Provide HR Support: Address queries and concerns from leaders and employees, offering guidance and solutions in a timely manner. Benefits Administration: Administer benefits programs, including facilitating electronic open enrollment process. Compensation Project: Support the larger project focusing on salary benchmarking and career framework development. must be eligible to work in the U.S. Visa Management: Collaborate with an attorney to ensure compliance with must be eligible to work in the U.S. visa regulations. Manager Support: Educate and assist managers in HR-related matters, considering their high-level needs and expectations. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 7 years of experience in HR roles, with exposure to various HR functions Strong knowledge of payroll systems, preferably ADP WFN Familiarity with EEO1 reporting requirements Experience in facilitating annual performance reviews and salary administration Proven track record in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing and screening candidates Sound understanding of employee relations and performance management practices Familiarity with benefits administration and open enrollment processes Ability to adapt to a diverse and dynamic employee population Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with various stakeholders Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
