Your responsibilities in this roleCreate onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on internal procedures, HR policies, and regulationsCreate employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversiteCollaborate with employees, upper management, and third-party vendorsCompare local, state, and federal laws to current internal policies and proceduresConduct employee performance reviews, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviewsCreate & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projectionsManage employee relations, including coordinating sensitive conversations and engaging employeeDevelop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination lettersDraft templates for HR documents, including the Employee HandbookWork with other members of the HR department to manage the hiring and onboarding process for new company employeesResponsible for operations tasks for the HR department
