We are partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturing company in Chattanooga to place a Recruiter into a 6 month contract opportunity. As a Recruiter, your primary responsibility will be to source, attract, and hire talented individuals to fill various positions within our client's manufacturing plant. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the organization has a skilled and capable workforce to meet production goals and maintain operational efficiency. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, understanding workforce needs, and executing effective recruitment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing:
Utilize various sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, industry networks, and employee referrals to identify and engage potential candidates.
Build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future manufacturing positions.
Actively seek out and attend job fairs and industry events to promote the company and attract potential candidates.
Recruitment Strategy:
Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs and requirements.
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to ensure the timely filling of vacant positions while maintaining high-quality standards.
Screening and Selection:
Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization.
Coordinate and schedule interviews, assessments, and pre-employment tests as necessary.
Candidate Experience:
Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and feedback to candidates throughout the hiring process.
Address candidate inquiries and concerns, guiding them through the recruitment process.
Compliance and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities, including candidate profiles, interview notes, and hiring decisions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
