Robert Half is looking for an Inventory Clerk! The Inventory Clerk role is contract / contract / temporary to permanent , with business hours Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. There is occasional overtime past 5 pm. In the Inventory Clerk role, you will be responsible for managing assets, shipping / receiving support, and purchasing functions. Responsibilities of the Inventory Clerk: ● Ordering, shipping, checking status of orders via vendors/suppliers websites, receiving and returns ● Processing Sales and Parts Orders ● Approve and input part number additions, and deletions to inventory system ● Update inventory system with new pricing when requested ● Pull, assemble, and prepare all necessary documentation required by carrier such as Bill of Lading, UPS documentation, and manifest record keeping, etc. ● Maintaining log books ● Manage return shipping documentation and follow up to insure items returned for warranty claim to vendors, customer repairs, refurbishments, and credits are expedited and credit received ● Participate in semi-annual physical inventory and/or cycle counts ● Look for opportunities for cost savings or utilization of surplus inventory ● Responsible for adhering to the company’s quality systems and safety policies/practices
