Robert Half has multiple openings for Medical Records Clerks for our client in the West Akron area. This is a contract to hire opportunity. -Organize and maintain patients' medical records in both electronic and paper formats.-Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient information, including diagnoses, treatments, and medical history.-Input new patient information and updates into the electronic health record (EHR) system.-Verify and correct discrepancies in patient records.-Process requests for medical records from authorized individuals or entities in accordance with privacy regulations.-Ensure proper documentation and authorization before releasing medical information.-Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.-Work closely with healthcare providers, nurses, and administrative staff to obtain necessary information for recordkeeping.-Assist patients and authorized personnel in accessing and understanding their medical records.-Respond to inquiries related to medical records promptly and professionally.
