Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of performance and availability
- Manage network security, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and vulnerability assessment
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including servers, routers, switches, and other network equipment
- Implement network policies and procedures to ensure network security and compliance
- Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to resolve network-related issues and provide technical support
- Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, and OSI model
- Extensive experience with Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Experience with network monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios
- Knowledge of network security best practices, including firewall configuration and vulnerability management
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot network issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP) is preferred
