You will direct the month-end closing, reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable as the Bookkeeper. Additionally, the Bookkeeper will handle coding, light journal entries or general ledger reconciliation and perform data entry, cash applications, and full cycle A/P. Key responsibilities


- Keep Accounts Payable up to date


- Lead Accounts Receivable


- Capable in credit card management and reconciliation


- Sustain monthly accounting close


- Produce cash flow projections, as needed


- Secondary assignment when necessary


- Look after general ledger


- Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments


- Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents


- Guide monthly accounting close


- Arrange subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement



Requirements

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks

- Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

- Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"

- People Management experience preferred

- Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping

- Remarkable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

- Be detailed, flexible, and organized

- Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

- Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

- 2 years of related experience- Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
