Mike Cox of Robert Half, is currently recruiting a newly created Investment Analyst (Operations) position for an investment management firm in Santa Monica, CA.
The Investment Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate operations of mutual funds, TAMP models and separately managed accounts (SMAs) within a fast-growing investment management firm. The successful candidate will work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and other stakeholders to support the day-to-day operations, including performance reporting, portfolio data reporting, trade processing and reconciliation. Reports to the COO.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of the mutual fund and registered investment advisory industry.
To be considered you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
A minimum or 2 years of experience in mutual fund or registered investment advisor operations and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Experience with Morningstar Direct or Orion is a plus.
They are currently in a ‘hybrid’ work arrangement with employees in the office 3 days per week with the ability to work remotely 2 days per week.
