A highly-regarded Seattle law firm in is seeking a Family Law Paralegal.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide support to attorneys during trial preparation and trial
- E-file in multiple Washington counties and federal courts
- Manage attorney calendar - track deadlines and provide timely reminders
- Arrange depositions – coordinate schedules, prepare notices, schedule court reporter
- Order, track, and maintain client records
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy information databases and file systems; open/close files
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist attorneys in preparing cases for filing, including draft and finalize correspondence, reports, and basic pleadings with minimal supervision; proofread documents for typographical, spelling, and content errors
- Request, scan, organize, and bates stamp large volume of records
- Conduct potential client intake calls
- Obtain billing records, create damage ledgers, calculate, track, and administer lien payments
- Oversee filing of pleadings during course of litigation
Requirements
- At least 2 years of litigation experience, Family Law preferred
- 2 years of experience recent Washington state and federal electronic filing
- Superb writing, grammar, and communication skills
- Experience in drafting pleadings and/or motions
