We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our team in the Manufacturing industry located in NEW ALBANY, Ohio. The Paralegal will be responsible for a variety of tasks including board meeting coordination, document management, and legal document preparation. The successful candidate will also handle communications, assist with subsidiary company matters, and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Chief Legal Officer to manage schedules and all administrative aspects of Board meetings and the Annual Stockholders Meeting.
- Ensure all legal documents are filed promptly and respond to document requests in a timely manner.
- Prepare and review various corporate documents, including bylaws, minutes, resolutions, and contracts.
- Support attorneys in the production of legal documents as necessary.
- Monitor deadlines to ensure compliance with legal regulations and requirements.
- Prepare expense reports and assist with invoice processing as required.
- Manage incoming mail and other communications, ensuring prompt and appropriate responses.
- Assist in managing subsidiary company matters, maintaining corporate records, and ensuring compliance.
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a paralegal role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in managing Corporate Minute Books and Corporate Minutes Book.
- Demonstrated ability to document and prepare minutes for meetings.
- Skilled in maintaining and organizing legal documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Must possess a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
- Knowledge of industry-specific laws and regulations is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in law or related field is required.
- Paralegal certification is preferred.
