Responsibilities
- Accurately process and reconcile payroll data in a timely manner.
- Carry out accounting functions, including auditing, to ensure financial integrity.
- Oversee benefit functions, ensuring employees receive the benefits they are entitled to.
- Utilize Paychex Payroll system to streamline payroll processes.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Resolve customer inquiries related to payroll in a professional and timely manner.
- Stay updated on current regulations and practices in payroll processing
- Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems for maintaining and processing financial data
- Solid understanding of Accounting Functions including preparing financial statements, budgeting, and tax preparation
- Knowledge of Auditing procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
- Familiarity with Benefit Functions including managing employee benefits, insurance, and retirement plans
- Experience with Paychex for processing payroll and HR services
- Proficiency in using Paychex Payroll for managing employee salaries, taxes, and deductions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and interact with employees
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll processing and record-keeping
- Willingness to stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
