Description Robert Half is hiring for a Payroll Specialist for a growing company in the Towson, MD area. This position will operate on a hybrid work schedule! The ideal candidate will have full-cycle payroll experience and in a high volume multi-state environment. Responsibilities Process full-cycle payroll Maintain employee payroll records Multi-state payroll processing Maintain relationship with payroll vendors Download and submit regular payroll reports to management Ensure all time sheets are submitted accurately and on time Maintain monthly payroll tax reports Special projects as assigned Requirements - FPC or CPP most optimal - Must have experience working with an HRIS system and high proficiency with spreadsheets- 3 years of payroll experience - Prior practice in various withholdings, garnishments, and processing liens- Multistate Payroll experience- Payroll experience- Practical knowledge of Process Payroll- Full Cycle Payroll experience- Garnishments payroll experience- Knowledge of Multi-state Payroll- Demonstrated knowledge of Payroll Law- General familiarity with Payroll Functions- Adeptness in multi-state payroll- UKG Pro experience highly preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
