For the short-term contract / temporary PC Technician role, you will be positioned in the Spring, Texas, area.What you get to do every day- Install printers, troubleshoot problems and make repairs- Handle all imaging and preparation tasks for new computers- Ensure the integrity of all electronic data records by following company quality standards- Provide support for functionality testing and end users- Track equipment inventory and collaborate on potential purchases- Retain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and solutions or installations- Arrange for repairs through the appropriate vendors- Provide computer hardware support for PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and other IT equipment, including diagnoses, repairs, rebuilds, and refurbishments- Communicate with ticket submitters effectively and on a regular basis- Oversee data transfers from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix- Manage and carry out a variety of technology implementation projects- Take down, box, move and set up/install on site- Break down, box and ship old equipment
