My client, a well-established company in Lawrenceville, is searching for a proactive Procurement Analyst to join their team in Lawrenceville. The primary focus of this role is to analyze company spend, manage vendor relationships and negotiations, and oversee the sourcing and preparation of requests for proposal. Additionally, the Procurement Analyst will play a crucial role in establishing and enforcing purchasing policies, practices, and procedures, while ensuring accurate and timely reporting of purchasing and spending activities.

My client, a well-established company in Lawrenceville, is searching for a proactive Procurement Analyst to join their team in Lawrenceville. The primary focus of this role is to analyze company spend, manage vendor relationships and negotiations, and oversee the sourcing and preparation of requests for proposal. Additionally, the Procurement Analyst will play a crucial role in establishing and enforcing purchasing policies, practices, and procedures, while ensuring accurate and timely reporting of purchasing and spending activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze spend across the organization and provide recommendations for areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with departmental teams to identify cost-saving opportunities with vendors and suppliers.
- Manage the quote process to present stakeholders with purchasing options for all requisitions.
- Oversee internal processes related to vendor approval and setup.
- Assist in researching and resolving vendor disputes and problem invoices to enhance accuracy and compliance with the purchasing process.
- Drive modifications in systems and processes to address problems or enhance the effectiveness of the purchasing process.
- Communicate purchasing policies, practices, and procedures to colleagues within the organization and garner cooperation on purchasing practices.
- Administer and monitor the company’s corporate credit card program.
- Prepare consistent reporting for leadership and track the performance of procurement efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field of study required.
- 2 years of relevant experience; equivalent experience/education will be considered.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with third-party vendors.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced work environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with other Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint and SharePoint.
