This Property Accountant will have experience in accounting and property management, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems. What you get to do every day
- Pay state real-estate taxes for 14 different states
- Process cash disbursements for accounts payable
- Month end and year end close
- File multi-state sales and use tax
- Balance security deposit reports
- Enter and process cash disbursements for mortgages, 2nd mortgages, caretakers and central office
- Set up new properties
- Assist in processing refunds
- Prepare multi-state sales and use tax reports
- Reconcile bank statements
- Manage banking relationships
- Manage quarterly payroll forms
- Prepare year end reports for the Owners
- 1099 – NEC, 1099 – MISC, 1099 – INT
- Complete tax extensions
- Prepare trust tax returns
- Prepare partnership tax returns
- Prepare worker’s comp report
- Prepare individual tax returns for the Owners
- Work with our CPA firm, SVA, on audits

Requirements
Experience with Yardi software is preferred
CPA is highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Experience in the property management industry is highly desired
Salary : $110,000 - $115,000
