As a Registered Representative for Trading, you will play a crucial role in executing trades on behalf of clients within the parameters of regulatory guidelines and client instructions. This position requires a deep understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Client Interaction:
- Communicate with clients to understand their investment goals, risk tolerance, and trading preferences.
- Provide personalized investment advice and execute trades based on client instructions.
- Execute trades promptly and accurately on behalf of clients using trading platforms and systems.
- Monitor market conditions and execute trades in accordance with market trends and client needs.
- Ensure all trades comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
- Conduct research on financial markets, securities, and economic trends to inform trading decisions.
- Analyze data and financial reports to assess investment opportunities and risks.
- Maintain accurate records of trades, transactions, and client interactions.
- Prepare reports detailing trade activities, portfolio performance, and market analysis.
- Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and protect client investments.
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend adjustments as necessary.
- Stay informed about new financial products, services, and technologies.
- Pursue ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or CFP designation a plus).
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required; Series 65 or 66 preferred.
- Proven experience as a Registered Representative or Financial Advisor in a brokerage or financial services firm.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze complex financial information and provide clear recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and CRM systems.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
