Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Remittance professional in the Credit Agencies industry, based in Edina, Minnesota. The role involves a range of responsibilities including preparing client remittances, reconciling cash receipts, and assisting with client audits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile client remittances to the remittance period
• Execute wire transfers based on client remittances
• Transfer fees on net clients to the operating account
• Reconcile cash receipts with postings and deposits
• Enter remittance payments and client fee invoices into the accounting system
• Download NSF files as required
• Perform transfers between trust accounts as needed
• Assist with daily payment posting operations
• Support the preparation of client audits
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, Electronic Remittance, Remittance Advice, EFT - Electronic Funds Transfer, and Electronic Funds Transfer.
  
  

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential
• Proven skills in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections
• Experience in Commercial Collections is desirable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
• Familiarity with Electronic Remittance, Remittance, and Remittance Advice
• Capable of handling EFT - Electronic Funds Transfer, Electronic Funds Transfer, and Wire Transfer
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High degree of professionalism and integrity
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
