What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salesforce Administrator position at Robert Half?
Robert Half is partnering with an expanding company to find a Salesforce Administrator with a background in complex problem solving. This position would be a great fit for an efficient problem solver with fine-tuned decision-making skills. The long-term contract / temporary to hire Database Administrator position will be 100% remote working EST hours.
Major responsibilities
- Configure monitoring utilities for databases to keep false alarms to a minimum
- Restore databases as service outages occur, including after hours and weekends
- Handle all database instances, installing, configuring, and maintaining them across development, staging, and production environments
- Ensure the design and execution of database server topology, configuration, and maintenance meet SLA objectives
- Give advice on database design, tuning options, and other possible issues
- Improve performance with the most effective solution, such as hardware purchases, server configuration changes, or index/query changes
- Monitor for deviation in baseline system performance, and advise on and execute improvements to slow running queries
Requirements
- Prior experience in production and on-call environments
- 4 years of database experience
- General familiarity with storage and server hardware required
- Prior experience adjusting queries to enhance performance
- Proficiency in Salesforce Configuration
- Salesforce Flow experience required
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Administration
- Strong relational database management systems expertise. You can write a query to do almost anything
- Experience developing and maintaining documentation
