Brittany Bui at Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Accountant with one of their reputable clients. This permanent role is located in the Hillsboro, Oregon area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities
- Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
- Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests
- Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
- Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives
- Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
- Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
- Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
- Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner

Requirements
- Experience with ERP systems
- Vow to meet business deadlines
- 3 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
- SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
- Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Solid understanding of bank reconciliations
- Adeptness in cash management
- General ledger experience preferred
- Accounting Software Systems experience
- Expertise in journal entries
- Proficiency in GAAP Accounting
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
- Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills
- Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
