Robert Half is currently looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team for a long-term contract / contract / contract / contract to permanent opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This Senior Accountant opening is located in the Morton Grove, Illinois area and will offer you great experience, strong compensation, and an attractive benefits package. Apply today!Major responsibilities- Ad-hoc projects as required- An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process- Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments- Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors- Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting- Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts- Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP- Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests- Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
