We are searching for a Sr Accounts Payable Lead to join our team in Delray Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be tasked with handling invoice processing and review, vendor communication, and discrepancy resolution. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Handle processing and review of multi-million dollar invoices
- Communicate effectively with vendors to ensure smooth operations
- Resolve discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
- Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate records
- Leverage knowledge of account coding to ensure proper categorization of expenses
- Utilize NetSuite for various accounting functions
- Conduct auditing of financial data for accuracy
- Process Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
- Use ADP - Financial Services for various tasks
- Manage the use of Concur for expense reporting and management.
- Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of finance and accounting
- Proven expertise in Account Coding, Accounting Functions, and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems such as ADP - Financial Services and NetSuite
- Experience with Accrual Accounting and Auditing is required
- Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is a necessity
- Proficiency in using Concur or similar expense management software is highly desirable
- Must have a deep understanding of financial regulations and legislation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline is required
- Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) would be an advantage.
