Are you an expert at relational databases? Do you enjoy designing, building, and developing database architecture? Robert Half is seeking a Data Engineer with a strong command of query writing and an interest in developing systems for placement at one of our clients. This Data Engineer position is a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity located in the Denver metro area.
- Strong knowledge of data integration, including the ability to map data and ensure that data adheres to API requirements, document integration logic and rules, identify, compare, and help resolve issues with data quality
- Strong understanding of advanced database querying concepts
- Strong knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) – MS SQL required
- Advanced experience in maintaining and optimizing databases – MS SQL Required
- Ability to develop and modify reports, verify and maintain information integrity, and design business intelligence dashboards, scorecards, charts/graphs, drill-downs, and dynamic reports to meet new information needs
- Ability to design, plan, and implement a data warehouse with ETL strategy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and comfort presenting conclusions
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and business intelligence solutions that are aligned with the IT department strategic plan and industry best practices
- Skilled in evaluating business needs and the availability of data to meet these needs within the enterprise data environment
Requirements
- Well-founded grasp of ETL packages.
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) -- specifically PowerBI
- Microsoft SQL Server Database experience
- MySQL experience
- Proficiency in Data Visualization
- Proven knowledge of data warehousing
- Foundational knowledge in Data Visualization
- Solid understanding of database troubleshooting, and background with industry standards for database operations
Salary : $51 - $65
