We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Tax Associate in AVON, Ohio, United States. As a Sr. Tax Associate, you will be instrumental in the financial services industry, handling various tasks related to tax preparation, client interaction, and payroll.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of individual tax returns
- Handling of partnership, trust, S-corp returns
- Regular interaction with clients to resolve their queries and provide excellent service
- Review of tax returns
- Management of payroll duties
- Utilizing skills in CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax for efficient functioning
- Carrying out various accounting functions
- Handling of annual income tax provision
- Conducting auditing where necessary.
- Proficient in CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax software
- Extensive knowledge and experience in accounting functions
- Ability to prepare and review annual income tax provisions
- Strong auditing skills
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of current tax laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role in a financial services firm is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
