Premier real estate property management company is looking to hire an Accounting Manager to oversee the corporate accounting team. This position offers the opportunity to join a well-established company that is continuing to grow and acquire new properties.Responsibilities· Oversee the monthly, quarterly and year end closings.· Prepare monthly financial statements and consolidated financial statements.· Financial statement reviews and reconciliations.· Oversee tax filings.· Interact with internal and external audit teams.· Participate in the budget and planning process and help with strategic planning.· Implement internal controls and best practices.· Manage a small accounting team and contribute to the accounting team's overall success. Qualifications· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance· 4 years' work in corporate accounting preferably within the real estate industry.· Any management or mentoring skills is a plus.· Real estate software systems experience is a plus.· Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
