Robert Half is working with a client seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, reconciling transactions, and supporting the quarterly closing process.The Staff Accountant will also play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial data through the integration of technology and accounting systems.Responsibilities:1. Transaction Assessment and Reconciliation: - Review and assess periodic financial transactions to ensure accurate recording. - Reconcile bank accounts to verify the accuracy of financial statements. - Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. - Assist in special projects and tasks on an as-needed basis2. Quarterly Closing Support: - Assist in the quarterly closing process, collaborating with the finance team to ensure a smooth and accurate closing.3. Technology and Accounting Systems Integration: - Utilize knowledge of technology to integrate and streamline accounting systems. - Work towards optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes through technology solutions.4. Financial Reporting: - Run reports as needed to support the sales team and owners. - Ensure that reports are accurate, timely, and provide valuable insights for decision-making.
