The position is a Staff Accountant, focusing on accounts payable, general ledger, fixed assets, bank reconciliations and journal entries. This role presents a short term contract employment opportunity, within a traditional workplace setting. Responsibilities:• Managing accounts payable activities including recording financial transactions and processing payments• Overseeing the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date• Monitoring and maintaining fixed assets, ensuring accurate record keeping• Performing bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies• Preparing and posting journal entries, supporting the financial reporting process.
