This is for "Demand and Supply Planning Analyst" on a 3 month contract basis. (Hybrid work schedule)
The Demand and Supply Planning Analyst manages demand and supply processes as per best practice by working in partnership with customers as well as internally with marketing, sales, and operations teams to improve the accuracy and reliability of the forecast. This is done through projection of the most realistic estimate of customer demand and managing exceptions to enhance the responsiveness of the organization’s ability to fulfill customer demand. This position is responsible for balancing supply with demand to improve delivery performance while maintaining optimal stock cover end to end.
Responsibilities include:
25% - Develops and maintains the Supply Plan by using appropriate customer level sales and inventory information, promotional data and distribution information and assumptions. Collaborates with the factories and internal stakeholders to create the optimal supply plan.
15% - Analyzes actual sales to customers and sell-out data to actively identify exceptional or un-forecasted activities. Drives fast, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Demand Plan. Communicate these actions to stakeholders.
Utilizes all Demand and Supply Planning system functionality in an effective manner to enable an exception based management approach and implement tools to deliver tangible benefits (e.g. time savings, increased efficiencies).
10% - Improves accuracy and drives out systematic forecast bias through detailed analyses of past performance. Consistently tracks errors using reason codes and maintain an efficient learning log.
10% - Works closely with partners at collaborative accounts and brokers to evaluate inventory levels and display needs and concerns and determines and communicates recommendations and course of action.
10% - Monitors essential KPIs, such as MOH, CFR, bad goods, demand plan accuracy and bias, vendor and customer performance, and stock in trade. Develops and executes corrective actions when outside of established boundaries.
10% - Initiates and implements actions collaboratively with Manufacturing and Global Supply Chain to meet or exceed MOH targets by establishing reasonable stock policies, using best practice tools, combined with identifying and implementing actions to impact MOH improvements (such as MOQs and lead times).
10% - Participates in MBP (Monthly Business Planning) as defined.
