What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Analyst position at Robert Half?
The Systems Analyst II works closely with people internal and external of the organization, applying analysis and design techniques, expert business domain knowledge, and expert knowledge of the systems deployed therein, to solve business problems using information technology solutions.
Requirements
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Detailed level understanding of existing plant floor computer systems and capable of trouble-shooting plant floor computer systems problems from a Business Function point of view and a Technical Design point of view.
· Aptitude to quickly understand plant floor computer systems functionality. Identify points of failure and have the ability to troubleshoot. Points of failure will include Operating System, Computer Hardware, Robots, PLCs, HMIs, Networking Hardware and Communications Configurations, and 3rd Party Software.
· With an understanding of Business function needs, the SA will develop or contribute to detailed technical specifications for the modifications/enhancements of existing systems or development of a new system.
· Ability to work with and communicate with a variety of Business people at various levels within the Business. This will include department engineers, architect teams, database admins, software developers, quality assurance teams, department leadership and 3rd party vendors.
· Ability to work with third party software vendors and participate in the integration process.
· Other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
· 6 Years IT experience
· Aptitude to digging into unusual situations and finding solutions to problems
· Experience working with plant floor systems from a technology perspective
· Ability to pick up new systems quickly to become SME
· Excellent written skills and ability to create system and process documentation
· Strong communication skills (verbal and written), able to navigate through file structures for various operating systems, working knowledge of SQL, basic understanding of networking and machine communication
Salary : $52 - $55
