- Take part in reviewing all financial statements for quality control
- Assist in the review of the calculation and distribution of W-2s and 1099s
- Prepare and review tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits
- Help with the preparation of quarterly tax projections and communication of required estimated tax payments
- Inspect and provide oversight for quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
- Determine tax best business practices and relay to staff accountants and accounting managers
- Assist with compliance with financial and tax reporting policies and procedures
- Assemble and analyze complicated income tax returns- Support compliance and planning for tax matters like waivers and tax returns
