What are the responsibilities and job description for the User Experience (UX) Director position at Robert Half?
The User Experience (UX) Manager is responsible partnering with the GBU/LoB Offering Managers to develop and implement User Experience (UX) for products and services. The UX Manager will support New Product Development Introduction (NPDI) projects primarily in Gates 1 through 4 and provide follow up support as needed. The UX Manager will drive the UX Strategy for the project and work with the project leadership (Program Management and Offering Management) to ensure adoption of the UX Strategy. Additionally, the UX Manager will be the liaison between the End to End UX team, the Marketing team, and the project team to ensure all UX inputs are carried through the process. The UX Manager will also mentor, guide, and manage other UX professionals to meet milestones and deliverables.
The UX Manager will receive objectives from the Sr. Director of GPPM, from the VUE team, and will engage with the project team to incorporate the UX objectives into the project. UX Leads (in North America, and 2 other countries) will report to the UX Manager.
The UX Manager is responsible for the Global User Experience of all projects/services globally as assigned by the above.
Responsibilities:
(70%) Lead the UX implementation on major “Full Service” UX projects
(20%) Managing the day to day activities of regional UX leads ensuring consistency in approach.
(10%) Supporting training and mentoring project teams to perform UX on their own (“Self Service” UX projects)
Requirements:

BS in Human Factors, or BS in Interaction Design, or BS Product Design or BS in User Experience
7 years of experience
Demonstrated skills in eliciting customer wants and needs
