As a Sales Associate, you play a direct role in keeping the store running smoothly.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED (or equivalent)
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferable 1-3 years prior retail experience.
• Must work a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends.

As a part of our sales team you are responsible for providing a superior experience to our valued customers. In addition, you will need to:

• Engage customers in conversation to understand their needs and desires.
• Ability to present merchandise and share detailed information regarding features and benefits of products.
• Collaborate with customers looking to reset, rework, or redesign their own pieces
• Provide estimates for repairs on jewelry and watches
• Perform replacements of watch batteries and adjustments of watch bands
• Receive jewelry for cleaning and inspection
• Maintain display merchandising and refresh where necessary
• Participate in opening and closing procedures
• Perform basic housekeeping: vacuuming, dusting, cleaning display cases, cleaning and polishing inventory, and washing windows
• Evaluate, test, weigh, and buy gold, silver, and platinum jewelry
• Strive to achieve personal and store targets that drive sales
• Provide information regarding extended service plans and financing options.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and priorities.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe environment for clients and staff.
• Possess a positive attitude and be a team player.

• Strong customer service, sales, retail and/or jewelry experience
• Flexible availability to work during “peak” retail hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays
• A positive, customer-focused approach in delivering an exceptional customer experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
