General Summary
The Manufacturing Inventory Associate oversees routine inventory transactions in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System for the Materials and Logistics department in support of manufacturing goals.
This role is responsible for all ERP transactions for piece parts and consumables and for maintaining accurate inventory and traceability.
Key to this role is accurately sending the correct parts to the manufacturing assembly floor.
Responsibilities
- Pick and combine materials and hardware listed on production orders and deliver to Test and Burn-In areas as required.
- Delivery of kitted hardware and lot to Test floor
- Scan and track incoming / outgoing kitted jobs
- Performs physical counts for jobs going to the assembly floor and requests
- Follows defined specifications and reaction paths.
- Uses multiple hand tools to manually process delicate products without damaging components.
- Follow standard work instructions and operating procedures (SOP
- Maintain inventory storage area
- Resolve and / or escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in a timely fashion.
- Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels both physically and in ERP system.
- Proactively communicates order / tooling issues to Test, Maintenance, and Test Engineering departments.
- Maintain minimum on hand amounts for all piece parts and consumables.
- Performs additional duties, as assigned.
- Maintains well-organized and audit ready work areas
- Utilizes computer-based manufacturing systems to move product and enter data
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required
- No previous experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.

Physical Requirements
- Medium levels of physical work; at times, needing to exert force / push items of up to 50 lbs. and lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent walking through manufacturing areas involves gowning for the specific work area.
- Must be able to push / pull / manipulate and grasp work with both hands, reaching both above and below shoulder height.
- Good hand eye coordination and ability to manipulate small tools and parts is required.
- Keyboard use and interaction with multiple computer systems and production equipment interfaces.
- The job requires frequent endurance with typical spans of >
